BOWLS

Our main function is bowls.

We have pennant sides on Saturday, Wednesday and Thursday during summer. 5 open gender teams on Saturdays, 3 Women's teams on Thursdays and 2 Men's teams on Wednesdays for the 2020-21 season.

The Club regularly hosts representative games for Bowls South and Bowls Tasmania.

Every Monday all year we host up to 50 players or more for a 'random draw' event. Anyone can come along and play. Players randomly draw a rink for play for this very popular social afternoon. Bowls are available for new players. A great way to try bowls. 12.30 for a 1 pm start. Play until 3pm. A GOOD INTRODUCTION TO THE GAME.

During winter there is a Pairs random draw on Fridays. Again anyone can play. Again a 1.30pm start.

During winter also there are rostered fours games. Call the club or watch the facebook page for details.

Several one off events are also conducted throughout the year.

CASUAL USE: The indoor centre is also available for casual play at all other times when the centre is open. The cost is $5 per session per player. A session is usually 2 hours.

You do not need to be a member of a bowls club to use the indoor facility. Bowls are available to use if you need them. Flat sole shoes with no grip need to be worn.
